Blue Knights Washington V History (Yakima)

 
In early 2009, 19 former members of Blue Knights Washington III (Tri-Cities) chapter broke off and chartered a Washington V Chapter of the Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club based in the Yakima County area of Washington State and also serve surrounding counties (Official Charter Date; May 15, 2009). 

 
Washington V is part of the West Coast Conference, which is comprised of Washington, Oregon, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho and Utah as well as Northern and Central California, Northern Nevada, Alaska, Hawaii, and Australia/New Zealand.  The WCC also includes the five Western Canadian Provinces/Territories
(Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan,
Northwest and Yukon Territories).

 History of the Blue Knights MC

In the Spring of 1974, several law enforcement officers* from the Bangor, Maine (USA) area met and formed a small, local motorcycle club.  The rest, as they say, is history. 

Soon, Blue Knight chapters were being formed in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and beyond.  With the addition of Canada, and later Australia, the Blue Knights became an international organization. 

*Our Founding Fathers are: Joel Rudom, Bill Robinson, Doug Miner, Ed Gallant, Mike Hall, Chuck Gesner, Wayne Labree, Chuck Shuman

As of  July 2011 Blue Knights International has 19,420 members in 620 chapters in 11 conferences and covers 29 countries!!!!
